Simple Tips to Crack NDA Exam 2019 in First Attempt

One of the most honoured and respected careers in our country is to join defence forces like Indian Army, Indian Air force and Indian Navy. Young candidate can fulfil all their expectations by choosing a career of challenges, excitement, and adventure as a ‘Commissioner Officer’ in defence.

NDA 2 Exam 2019 is scheduled to be organized on 17 November 2019. Like every time, a huge crowd will appear in the exam to follow their dream academies and achieve their goals. For that candidate who is fresh in this field and trying their best to crack the UPSC exam in their first attempt, need some direction to follow. Firstly explaining the pattern of the exam in a short way, here is a tip and plan of the exam.

Exam Pattern: The exam papers such as Mathematics and General Ability and English. The exam schedule is:-

1. Mathematics 2 hours 30 Minutes 100(Question) 300(Marks)
2. General Ability + English 2 hours 30 Minutes 150 (Question) 600(Marks)

NDA exam is a little bit different from the other competitive exams the candidates face after 12th. So the candidates need to do some extra efforts for clearing the NDA Exam. The new candidates of NDA need to follow some tips given below and thing as per their requirements.

1.

English and GK common part – Paper 2 of the NDA exam consist of GK and English. This is a plus point as the candidates get more chances to score in the section in which they have a good have good knowledge of G.K. easily deal in that part, while those who are good in English can choose it to score.

Mathematics practice – Mathematics is all about practice. The candidates must practice question as much as they can. The questions in NDA exam have generated the syllabus of 10th, 11th and 12th mathematics. So be prepared.

Time management is matters – The time management is an extremely important thing in the mathematics paper. Keep an eye on the time while attempting mathematics paper. As the time given for G.A. paper is sufficient. The candidates have to manage time in mathematics. This can be approached their goals by practicing and doing preparation.

Importance of Stream subjects – The stream subjects that the candidates have to choose an option in 12th class that can be used to score more, such as physics and chemistry for science students, history and civics for Arts students and so on. The questions in general ability are assembled from almost the subjects of the 12thclass. So prepare your best subjects.

Negative marking in Exam–: In UPSC exams have contained a negative marking of 1/3 which makes it difficult to gain a good score. Always keep one thing in your mind don’t mark the question which is out of your knowledge. Leave the questions which are not in your knowledge.

Score well in easy parts – There are certain parts in both the papers that are easy to cover, such as short passages in English, some directly answered questions from General knowledge. Try to score more in those parts.

Solve previous year exam papers – Solve the previous paper because the previous year papers of NDA can help the new aspirants in getting the idea of the types of question. The candidates must also go through the general ability papers of other exams organized by UPSC to get a good level of knowledge.

Current affairs are also important – The current affairs are the simplest thing to cover. But need serious efforts to prepare and attempt. The candidates have to prepare the C.A. of the last 4-5 months with a deep knowledge of all major points.
